Pages duplicating documents

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand that Pages is opening duplicate documents on your Mac. I'll do what I can to help.

Here are some suggestions:

• If this is a collaboration document, it might cause this behavior: About collaboration for Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
• If this document is local, try restarting the Mac and opening again: Log out, sleep, restart, or shut down your Mac
• Try seeing if the same thing happens in safe mode: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

If you're opening them on other devices, that means these are being used with iCloud.

On the iCloud website from a browser, locate these same documents from iCloud Drive: Use iCloud Drive with Pages on Mac

If they duplicate, try closing the document and deleting the duplicate, then opening again to see if the deleting syncs.

Also, if possible, try opening the documents on another network to see if the same thing happens.
