iCloud Storage Is Full - But It Isn't

Hi everyone. I seem to have a problem with Notes on my Ipad and Mac. Whenever I open Notes a message keeps on popping out saying "Your iCloud storage is full" while, in fact, I still have about 2 GB of free space. What is wrong and how do I stop getting these messages? Many thanks.

Hey there terracottaheart,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I understand you are receiving a message that your iCloud storage is full.

You can verify the amount of iCloud storage available by tapping Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Storage or Manage Storage.

This storage is not the same as the storage available on your device.

You can learn more about the differences below.

The next resource will help you manage your iCloud storage, to help stop this message from appearing.

Cheers!
