hi my name is Foad I did a clear install of Catalina on my 2017 15' rMBP. However, when I restart my Mac, the launchpad icon arrangement returned to system default. It's been a pain in the neck trying to arrange all the apps again. Does anyone ever encounter this bug?

It sounds like your organization of Launchpad is resetting when you reboot your Mac. I recommend taking a look at this article with steps to follow to Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac. This will perform checks and stop certain software from starting up automatically. Once you are in safe mode, test to see if you have the same issue.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I did what you mentioned and it happens when I am in safe mode, and one more thing I didn’t have the problem with any version of Mac OS, only with Catalina I have this problem.
