Screengrab fail

What's going on with Screengrab? This ordinarily reliable capture feature is suddenly just locking up when I try to use it in macOS 10.15.3.

iMac 27", macOS 10.15

Grab is no longer available for macOS Mojave (10.14) and above, but you can use Screenshot: Take screenshots or screen recordings on Mac - Apple Support

I would try using Screenshot in Safe Mode.

Perhaps I was sloppy with my question. I realize Grab is long since gone, but I referred to Grab when I meant to say Screenshot. My bad. In any event, the program has become wonky. I can launch it, capture the text or image I want, but it freezes there. I can close the program, close the program I was getting a screenshot from, and the frame will not close.
