Error 100092 when copying files from external drive

Error 100092 when copying Windows files from an external drive:

I found that trying to copy a windows file with a weird character at the end was crashing the copy process.

An Adobe Acrobat fie has an extension of 4 characters ",pdf[]" instead of "pdf".

In the Windows File Explorer, the [] was a showing as a drawing icon of a box.

Once I removed this, the copy operation went smoothly with no error 100092.
