Every time I try to use FaceTime, Photo Booth, or Skype - it says it cannot connect to a camera. Any help? Already updated to MacOS Catalina, and tried turning on/off

Have you turned the camera on for these apps in the privacy pane?

Do you have parental controls turned on for your account? You can disable the camera from there.
I am having the same issue. I have followed all online suggestions to control access to my camera but it only shows Skype and zoom.us. I can't add FaceTime or Photo Booth and even though Skype and zoom.us are selected to have access to my camera, they still do not in the app itself. Both Skype and zoom.us say no camera device found
Please help! I need this to continue working remotely
when I open the security and privacy, camera, it doesn't show FaceTime, but only Skype and zoom.us
