FaceTime

When talking on FaceTime I am unable to take love photos. Meaning I click the button, however, the photos do not appear in my photos. I am on IOS 13.3.1 and I have the FaceTime Live Photo’s setting turned on. Even when I turn the setting off to take still photos they don’t show up in my photos. A similar problem happened in December but it was sporadic. It would work or not work without me changing anything. Now it just won’t work and was wondering if anyone has any solutions.
