Animated Graphs in FCPX

Did you Export To > Movie... > Self-Playing .mov file?
Personally, I would set the background to a bright green, then use Keyer to remove it so that the background would be transparent and you could apply it over any other clip you may have in the storyline.
In case you didn't notice: you don't get to use "one slide" (that's one frame — or a still image). You have to build the animation in Keynote and save it out as a Quicktime movie. The steps are in that video.
Please explain exactly how you are exporting out of Keynote.
Also, what kind of animation are we talking about here? Maybe post some screenshots to illustrate.
Yes, the graph exports although it doesn't show any animation when it appears.
