Hi all, I have a ipod shuffle 4th gen & have selected songs from itunes & made a playlist. I have tried to sync them onto my ipod shuffle but get a message saying it wont allow it unless i go through icloud - a message: 'To Play Apple music songs on your ipod turn on icloud music library on your ipod' - i dont have that facility on my ole' shuffle....is this why..as its old..gotta buy a new one??

I am using a 3 month free trial. Does this mean i will not be able to put songs on my shuffle because i have not paid for them?
Songs gotten through an Apple Music subscription, whether free or paid, can't be put onto an iPod shuffle.
