Everytime I want to turn on my Apple tv I have to pull out the socket and wait a couple of seconds and then put it in again. How can I resolve this?

Please note that tvOS 13 changed the functionality of the remote. Users will need to use the Menu button or TV/Home button to wake the device, instead of the previously valid touch surface.
