Apple TV 4K
For my Apple TV 4K I always have to unplug it and plug it back in in order for it to turn on. I know this is a topic that was going on a few years ago has anybody found a solution?

at one point they changed it so pressing the main touch button no longer turned on the appletv and one had to turn it on by pressing the home or siri search bottons, this threw many people off confusing them, could this alteration be your culprit?
The Menu button also works to wake up the ATV. Just not the touch pad.
Otherwise it could be a hardware fault - ATV or Siri Remote.
