iPhone XR - break in conversations
I have an iPhone XR, purchased in November 2018. Almost every time I talk on the phone the conversation is broken. It suddenly becomes quiet and I have to call again.

From what I've read is that you're experience sound quality issues after a while talking on the phone. I'd like to help. If possible, can you test and confirm if the same issue occurs when using speaker or headphones?
What is your cellular signal strength when this happens?
Does it occur in multiple locations?
I'd also go through some of the steps listed in this article: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker
These steps will help us narrow down the issue. Keep me updated.
