Gradient app. Money charged without permission

Hello, dear Community members!

I‘ve been using AppStore and iTunes for many years, first time there is a problem like this - Gradient app asks for 3 days free trial usage without any other options available. Many people (according to reviews) face it. There is no other choice, so you choose 3 days trial but you are charged 20$ for a month right away. I tried to write to their support- nothing. Tried to get my money back through Apple - my message got an automatic reply that it is not the case. What should I do? Is there some way to stop this scamming? Help please.

To unsubscribe you need to do it from your Apple ID account, not from within the app itself. All free trials are automatically converted to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the free trial period is over.

If you want to unsubscribe, follow these steps:

View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

Officially, all purchases, including subscriptions, are final, but you can try to get a refund by completing the Report a Problem form.

Dear Rysz,

the problem is that I unsubscribed 3 minutes after the app downloading. But the money was charged just the moment I clicked on “three days trial”. So in settings there was the date of next period in one month, not in three days. In reviews it turned out there are thousands of same complaints about scamming. But it’s still on AppStore.

I don’t know what to do. Feel helpless.

I Did followed the link, thank you. But as I told before, there goes just automatic response after sending a request, that this is not the case due to some data.

But people keep complaining:

the question is more about how to deal with this scamming at global scale.
