Accessing a family member's phone remotely

Good Afternoon,

I'm looking for suggestions/advice on how I can remotely tap into my grandmother's phone. I live out of state and my parents are not tech savvy. My grandmother is 85 hasn't really grasp how the iPhone works. I know there are basic phones that could have avoided this situation, but she wanted an iPhone so here I sit.

My Grandmother calls often siting issues with her phone and due to her lack of knowledge, she's also been charged for things she shouldn't because she's accidently touched something. She was recently charged for a 411 call??? I didn't even know that still existed.

She often doesn't update her phone or her apps and I'd like to be able to remotely do that.

In the past I've called Apple for help and they've been able to remotely access my phone (with my permission) and were able to go through my phone to check on an issue I was having. I'm looking for the same capability.

Is this capability available outside of Apple customer service?

There is no way for you to remotely control her phone, contrary to the post above.

There are 3rd party apps that would allow you to view her phone to walk her through something, but if she's as non tech savvy as you believe, that's not going to do you much good as she probably couldn't figure out how to share her screen with you.

It requires active participation by the person sharing their screen.
