I have a Imac 8.1 PC that was given to me its from 2008
I am not able to download any apps because i cannot find app store. It has a app called MobileME.
Also whem i try to browse the interner it says i have to update my browser which it also does not let me do . It would help if someone who knows about this topic to help me out.

If this is your Mac, you'll need to purchase an upgrade DVD that Apple no longer sells.
The disc you need is the 10.6 retail upgrade, you can find it on eBay or Amazon
After installing it, you'll need to update to 10.6.8 to get access to the AppStore and from there you'll be able to upgrade further. Your Mac can run 10.11 El Capitan. But you didn't mention how much RAM it has and you may need to upgrade that if you want better performance.

Please go to Apple menu > About this Mac and tell us the information there. Everything except the serial # including what Mac OS X it is running.
MobileMe was some online services that was discontinued in 2008. You can't use it for anything.
Yes thats my user , i called apple and they gave me some ideas on how to reset it. I restarted my computer and did what they asked but when i hold down the command and R on the keyboard nothing happens and the same login screen appears.
Restart holding the mouse button down. The disc should eject. If you can't remember your password, I certainly don't know it.

I restarted the computer and now i cannot log in anymore. I forgot my admin password. Would i need a reseting disk?

Okay where am i supposed to insert the disk . I only have the computer no where to insert the disk.

Yes i saw that now and inserted a disk and it got stuck doesnt come out anymore.
Drag the icon of the disc to the Trash. Or use the Eject key.
