OSX 10.15.4 colour problem on external monitors

Thanks for the information that 10.15.5 does not address the problem. This all started over a year ago for myself with external monitor issues. A year later and nothing. I stopped upgrading at 10.15.1 because it seemed that Apple was not heading in the right direction to fix any of this. Now its getting toward replacing my MAC and I have to say with all the issues with eternal monitors, 16in kernel panicing all the time, that I'm having to seriously think that its time to leave MAC alone as it seems to becoming so unreliable it can not be used for work reliably. Its disappointing but at the rate Apple fixes bugs I'm not convinced in the number of years it will take apple to make MAC OS actually usable and stable again. Its depressing waiting for a year for a fix just to get external monitors to work reliably.

Just updated my MacBook Pro 2017 Touch Bar to OS X 10.15.5 and got the same problem. I'm a designer and can't use the display at all! My orange is neon, white is light blue. Everything was working fine yesterday! Please help!

+1 with this issue. Incredibly frustrating. My eyes are hurting using the screens to try and fix this. I have two LG 27UK850 monitors - both screwed since this update.

I am having the exact same problem, I have two LG displays on my 2018 15" MacBook Pro and the color is super wacky and I can't fix it.

I have the EXACT same issue as you described, same monitor, same MBP 17, same combination of settings and color issue.

10.15.4 (19E287) doesn't help.

In addition, the Hungarian spell checker doesn't work either.

Argh! Same issues here after upgrade my LG 32UD99 looks like poo poo. When connected to USB-C I have not option to turn off HDR. Frustrating trying to do Photography work.

Hi. Well I can only speak for my case. Once unchecked and the computer restarted it is all good. No problem anymore what so ever.

No.. I have 1.2 enabled and still have the problem when the computer returns from sleep, it is driving me crazy and honestly I can't be that hard to fix this bug APPLE!!!

The issue is not fixed at 10.15.5
