Safari Upgrade causes problems with many websites

I keep getting messages on several websites that say "a problem repeatedly occurred". This started when I updated Safari today. My MacBook Pro is running High Sierra, Safari 13.1. I have cleared the history and website data but I still have these issues. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this issue?

I am still having problems with Safari 13.1 on High Sierra. I cannot access my Apple ID or iCloud from Safari, despite having done everything suggested in previous posts. In addition to resetting or clearing everything suggested, I reinstalled High Sierra using the internet method, reinstalled the latest security update, and even reinstalled Safari 13.1 using the download others have found useful. Not only must I still use Firefox to get into this forum and a few other sites (at least I can do that), I got the extra added bonus of having multiple Mail app crashes after reinstalling the system. Since Firefox works fine, I must conclude that Apple messed up Safari and needs to fix it now.

This was happening to me.. it could be due to the fact that you have

High Sierra v. 10.13.6,

Safari v. Version 11.1.2 (13605.3.8) and this

Security Update ... Installed... and it causes a problem.

Try Rebooting and holding 'Command+r' use that to install your operating system again (DONT USE OPTION ERASE DISK FIRST). Then when you open the App Store, make sure your Preferences page is set to not automatically install Security Updates...

I can't resolve the issue with memory leaks in 13.1 on Mojave. Starting in safe mode, deleting history and cookies, checking disk, reinstalling Safari from .pkg - PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS!!! Working with sites which opens pages from within pages is absolutely impossible, memory leaks infinitely!!

Never had such problem in 13.05! Apple HAD TO FIX IT!!!!
