I just got a iPhone 11 and I’m getting emails all the way back to 2018 that I deleted. How can I get rid of them.

If they are appearing on your iPhone, it means they are still available on your account and your account settings prohibit client app, such as iOS Mail app, to remove emails permanently from the server.

Sign in to your account via webmail access provided by your ESP and delete those emails permanently.
