There's no 'check for updates' option in the Help menu so I can't connect my airpods to iTunes on my laptop. Also the icon between the volume control and the Apple icon/window where the song playing is displayed, is there but is unavailable to click on.

Hey ahugh92 were you ever able to get your airpods working with iTunes? I'm having the same issue with my Dell laptop. Every thing but Itunes is playing fine through my airpod pros. :(
Hi, thanks for the reply. Do you mean in iTunes or my laptop's settings? My airpods work fine with my laptop in general, it's just my iTunes I have the problem with. Can't see a Settings option in iTunes. I have an 'audio & subtitles' option under Controls, but it's in grey so I can't click it.
If I'm not mistaken (sorry if I am), you have to connect the AirPods as a bluetooth device in settings. You might lose some features though.
