AirPods does not work with iTunes from the PC
airpods are connected and work with other audio from the computer but itunes keeps playing through the computer speakers.

Try the Following:
Either (A)disable Bluetooth on the PC for the time being, or (B) change the sound output. Then, sync the AirPods with the device preferred. They can only be connected to one device at a time.
