Face ID not available

I have an iPhone 11. I had my FaceID setup and working, and all of us a sudden it stopped and it won’t let me reset it. This also happened prior to an IOS update. I have recently updated phone and Face ID still doesn’t work. I have attached what it says. I have shut off my phone, reset all settings and the only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset, which I would rather not do. Any other recommendations? Thank you!

Face ID So for the last few months my Face ID doesn’t work, I’ve tried resetting it but it just says ‘move iPhone lower/higher’ whenever I try to set it up. Sometimes it says “Face ID not available” but not always. My phone is up to date and I’ve tried restarting it with the sound switch up and still the same problem. Please help
