Ios13.4 - external drive

I have an A1709 (10.5 ipad pro 2017). With ios 13.3.1 i could connect usb’s to it with adaptor A1619. After upgrading to ios 13.4, i get the error that there is insufficient power, despite a Lightning cable and power source attached to adaptor (the ipad is charging so power is getting through). Clearly something changed in ios 13.4? Is there a settling i need to change or something?

Have you tried a simple hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

I'm having the same problem, resetting the iPad did not work. Is this a known issue? Did it actually work for you BigJeff100?
