Watch will not update

I tried to update to the newest ver. 6.2 and after an hour and a half I get a message there was an error and it will not continue. I have tried several times, reset the watch and the phone and always get the same result in the end. It downloads the software but when it gor=es to verifying an message comes up “Unable to install, an error occurred....” The watch is on the charger, fully charged and the watch and phone are 3 feet from my modem and router.

Try updating the watch from the watch itself;

Settings/general/software update,make sure the watch is on it's charger and has at least 50% charge and make sure wifi and bluetooth are on on both watch and phone.
