MacBook Pro 2018 Screen flickers and has huge shadows around my windows

Hi, my macBook pro 2018 display is slightly flickering and my windows now have huge annoying shadows. How can I fix?

Hi there, upendi.

I see that you're having a problem with your 2018 MacBook Pro. It keeps flickering and you're seeing shadows on the display. I'm glad to help with this.

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac -- Restart your Mac in safe mode and see if the flickering stops. If it still flickers, follow the step under "If the issue continues in safe mode". If it doesn't, refer to the section titled "If the issue doesn't continue in safe mode".

How to use Apple Diagnostics on your Mac -- If it continues to flicker, see if Apple Diagnostics finds any issues.
