Netflix will no longer play in Safari; Error Code S7702 - 1003

Since updating to 10.15.4 Catalina, Netflix will no longer play in Safari. Every time I try to watch something I keep receiving the Netflix Error Code S7702 - 1003. I've done some searching around on the web and can't find anything relating to the code. This isn't anything to do with Netflix throttling the quality or struggling to provide a service due to the current situation we are all in, as last night I tested my Apple TV, PS4, iPhone, Smart TV & Chrome (On my MacBook). All of which started playing immediately. The issue seems to be local to Safari its self. I feel begrudged to start using Chrome as I much prefer Safari and believe it to be more secure.

I have a feeling it could be to do with security settings perhaps on Safari, but having a look I couldn't spot anything different. If anyone could shed any light on the subject, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

Hello,

I faced the same issue after updating my Software on my mac to macOS Catalina: 10.15.4 (19E266).

After the chat with the Netflix HELP center, it turns out from now on we have to reach Netflix without private mode on in order to watch anything on Netflix via Safari. So, you can still use Safari, but turn off the private mode when you want to enjoy Netflix ;)

At the end, I wish they (Netflix) would add a shortcut error help message on their help website for avoiding us contacting them one by one.
