Can Someone Track An iPhone Without Being Able to Gain Access To It - Jealous Ex-Partner

Hi there

I have a rather jealous ex-partner who seems to know my whereabouts in a rather concerning way. Im pretty sure they don't know my passcode to the iPhone, so my question is can anyone set up an iPhone tracker without needing to install some app or code etc on the phone itself?

Can they type in a mobile number somewhere and do it this way? Can they type in the iPhone IMEI number to track it? Im clueless on this subject and would really appreciate any help.

If they know your Apple ID and password for that they can track you. If in doubt, change your password: Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support

The ONLY way they might be able to do this is if your cellular service is still on a plan that they pay for and control.

Most carriers offer family 'safety' services for a price that will allow you to track the location of all the devices on your account without the need to install any software or actively share your location.
