activation lock

I bought the phone ages ago of this girl who i am not in contact with and the phone has activation lock on it and i am unable to get onto the phone.

is there any other way to sort get into the iphone other than contacting the person i got it from as that is not really an option for me.

You will need the help of the previous owner to remove the activation lock:

If you cannot reach the previous owner, try to get your money back.
