Unglue conversations

It seems Mac glues all my emails together in "conversations" and that's totally unhelpful. Is there a simple setting that just allows mail to be seen one at a time, unrelated to anything? I don't want Mac to do anything except list the emails in the order they were received.

Any way to quickly see my reply to any email in my Mail Inbox? Is there any method in Mac Mail (Mail Version 14.0, Big Sur) where I can look at any Inbox email, see the little left-pointy arrow showing that I have responded, and quickly see/pull up that actual response email that I sent? I could've sworn that I used to be able to click on those little right/left pointy arrow icons and it would pull up the Reply, or Forwarded email. Any fast way to do this, besides look through the All Sent folder?

Deleting email addresses of previous recipients from Apple Mail v. 14 running in macOS v. 11.7.10. It was once possible to open a window in Mail that displayed a list of previous recipients, and to delete individual addresses therefrom. How can this be done currently?

Stu... Mail>View menu, uncheck Organize by Conversation. :)
