I get 2 spaces between words only on Facebook

Trying to comment on a Facebook post but as you type you get 2 spaces between words? Only happens when replying to a post on Facebook and while using my iPad. Does anyone know how to fix this annoyance?

Facebook comments Every time I press comments on any facebook post the app freezes and I have close the app and start over. This only happens on my iPad as iPhone and MacBook facebook apps work fine. This seems to have started with the IOS15.1 update. I’ve done everything I can think of for a fix including erasing all content and restoring from an iCloud backup. posting to status drops me out of facebook When I try to post to my status on Facebook on my iPhone 12 pro it drops me out of Facebook back to where all the apps are, it will not let me type in anything. If I sign back in to Facebook it shows the letter I typed and does the same thing if I try to type another letter or number. Any suggestions on how to correct this problem?
