iCloud Drive fails to start with an error message

This happens when I try to open iCloud Drive via iCloud.com. Trying to enable it in my iPad settings does not work either.

Hello Yoky.n,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. I see that you're receiving an error message when trying to access iCloud Drive on iCloud.com and you're unable to enable iCloud Drive on your iPad. I'm happy to help.

First, make sure that you're using a recommended web browser and that you meet all system requirements to access iCloud.com.

Use iCloud.com

Next, make sure that your iPad has the latest iOS version. If the issue persists restart your device and test the issue while connected to a different network.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Hi Becky,

I tried to access the iCloud drive using safari on my iPad Pro. It's on the latest iPadOS (13.4).

I think this is a backend problem since my account is quite old (started in 2010) but I only started using iCloud again after 8 years (last used in 2012).

The error message is attached to the original post as "Error thrown".

Thanks!
