Bluetooth and Siri Issues

Good morning, I have had this iPhone since about Thanksgiving ish. Since then I am still having issues with my Bluetooth hooking up to my headphones and also the Bluetooth in my car. It will hook up but the sounds and music are very spotty. Are there any tips for this because it is so irritating. Then sometimes when I hold the lock button for Siri to come up so I can give a command, it just doesn't hear me at all. I will try it like 5 different times in a row and still nothing. Are there any tips to correct this...I am extremely irritated that I paid all this money for a phone and its features don't even work.

Hello shelbs_ruff,

It sounds like you're having issues with the Bluetooth connection on your iPhone when you connect to either your headphones or your car. I have some steps I'd like to provide you with to help you get things working like you expect them to.

You also mentioned having an issue with Siri not hearing you. Does this only happen when you're connected to a Bluetooth device? Try using Siri with Bluetooth turned off to see if the same thing happens.

For the Bluetooth issue, try out these steps and respond back if you continue to experience the same thing:

  1. Restart your iPhone
  2. Update your iPhone to the most current iOS version available for it: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  3. Turn Bluetooth off and back on. Make sure this is done in Settings > Bluetooth and no in the Control Center.
  4. Restart your Bluetooth accessory.
  5. Disable Wi-Fi in Settings > Wi-Fi.
  6. Remove any cases from your iPhone and any accessories attached to it. Also, check for potential wireless interference: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference.

Take care.
