after updating to 16.2 Hey Siri is not following thru on voice commands and ending in message that says "Sorry, something went wrong."

Rebooting Siri function on iPhone did not fix the problem. so need another fix

If Siri is not working on your iPhone, here are some basic troubleshooting steps and resources that might help:


  1. Follow If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone
  2. Restart your iPhone
  3. Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
  4. Toggle Siri by going to Settings >  Siri & Search > Siri Voice, change the voice, restart the phone and change it back Change Siri voice or language
