Apple TV Gen 3 & YouTube

In the last month, I've started having issues playing music on the Apple TV Gen 3s ( I have 2 and both are having same issue). Both before and after the March 2020 update (which now works)

I can play videos: kids content, news, 'how to's', etc

but

playing music gives me the error: "An error has occurred loading this content. Try again later."

I am guessing it is YouTube trying to force the purchase of it's YouTube plus subscription.

For a while I had issues on my iMac as well loading music saying there was an error, but it would start to play in 2-6 seconds anyway... that problem is no longer happening.
