Salt water? and pools with Chlorine

given that all iPhones and phones in general are IP rated for fresh water without salt and or chemicals since salt can build up in ports and speaker, and chemicals like chlorine found in most pools can ruin the rubber seal around them that keeps the water away

so my question is what about the Apple Watch (series 3) can I swim in a pool with chlorine and other cleaning chemicals without worrying that the rubber seal will degrade and there ruin the watch, thx in advance :)
