Unable to download photos through USB to windows or iCloud

I am having trouble downloading my photos off my phone. I have tried USB to windows, this is resulting in "no device found" error code. I have gone through all the support suggestions from windows on this one and cannot seem to fix. I then tried iCloud however my photos wont go onto iCloud.

Any and all advice would be great.

iPhone X, iOS 13

For exporting to computer -- this can happen due to an error during file conversion. Go to Settings > Photos, scroll to the very bottom and "Keep originals" instead of "Automatic", then try to export photos one more time.

For iCloud -- make sure that you have enough iCloud storage, then leave your device charging overnight with a good Wi-Fi connection. iCloud syncs large data only when on Wi-Fi and charging. If this won't work, try sign out\in to iCloud and repeat the process.

Hey erinsmith93,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I understand you're running into an issue transferring your photos from your iPhone to your PC. I definitely want to make sure you're able to manage your photos, and I'm happy to help.

To start, make sure you're following the steps under "Import to your PC" found here: Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

You mentioned you're seeing an error "No device found" so I also recommend checking out the link below as it goes over what to do if your computer doesn't recognize you iPhone.

Thanks again, and have a great day!

eMail these to yourself:

eMail them to yourself from your iPhone. Then, open them from your eMail on your PC.

Restart the PC:

If they are not being found, then manually restart your PC: First, shutdown your PC; then unplug the iPhone; plug the iPhone back in; then boot up the PC.

Disable Security Software:

If these is security software on your PC, then disable it. Perhaps, it is not allowing it to be accessed.
