Why do videos mute after 18 seconds of watching?

Hello,

I recently bout an IPhone 11, every time I’m watching a video on Facebook after 18 seconds it mutes. I have to constantly pause it and play so that the sound can come back. I turn silent mode on, raising volume but it doesn't seem to work. I did an update on my phone and FB does not show it needs an update. Please help!

About once a week or so, my phone will decide it wants to pause my videos when I adjust my volume on literally any app. Like I could be watching a snapchat video from a friend that you can only see once and if my sound isn’t on, I can’t turn it on or else the video will stop playing. After this has started, it won’t stop, in fact videos just will not play after this unless I restart my phone and sometimes even that does not work. I have the newest update and I take good care of my phone. Please tell me I am not the only one. Can anyone please help me with this issue?

Sound cuts out on Facebook videos My phone has no issues with any other app I use to watch videos. But whenever I’m watching a Facebook video the sound will cut out like 20 seconds in and I have to keep pressing pause and play. I keep my phone on loud always and I don’t mute the videos. It doesn’t happen every time but happens everyday and often. Is this happening to anyone else? How did you fix it?

Facebook isn’t an Apple product. Best ask Facebook what’s going on.
