3.5 mm jack to Lightning Muffled

I have an iPhone 7 and using a 3.5mm headphone connect with 3.5mm to Lightning adapter and to my phone. It keeps muffling, all of them have no damages or wears at all, then I cleaned my phone port, the headphone and the jack. I tried to use the 3.5mm headphone and into my iPhone 6s Plus and it still works. So I think the problem is at the jack. Can you help me or give me an advice please?

iPhone 7, iOS 13

The problem is almost certainly the DAC at the lightning end of the cable/adaptor. You need to replace the cable/adaptor with an Apple authorised one !

For your information the lightning socket and similarly USBc will output digital sound ,however the decoder and amplifiers are built on the socket end of the cable or within wireless headphones. That is why the smart cables are actually quite expensive

These are tiny and can easily be damaged.
