Apple news bug

The Apple news app doesn’t remember the page I am viewing if I switch to another app and the return to App news. Every time it will go back to the top of the news list no matter if I was further down the list or reading an article.

This is utterly annoying.

That’s not a bug. A bug is something that doesn’t work the way it was designed to. Your news app IS working the way it was designed to work. The content of the News app changes constantly, so if you leave it and come back to it the content will be different. If you want to suggest a change this is the place to do it - Click this link—>https://apple.com/feedback
