There’s an activation lock on my iPhone after resetting it, I signed out with my own ID and now the required iCloud account is not mine any help??

Is this a second hand phone for you? If so, you will need the help of the prior owner to remove the activation lock.
Sorry, the only person who can help you is the person who set up the activation lock. Without their help, the phone is useless to you. Your only option is to recycle it and then purchase a new phone.
