How do I remove the microphone Icon from the upper right corner of my iphone8
The microphone is turned off, however the microphone Icon is still showing in the upper right side of my phone, does this mean that the microphone is still active?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
From what I've read is that you still have the microphone icon showing on your iPhone. I'd like to help and what this means is that you have an app that has access to your microphone. To turn this off or see which app has access, go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
