Mic icon on keyboard gone from all apps

Update: this is a new phone to me…decided to check keyboard settings and discovered “dictation” wasn’t turned on! One setting that didn’t transfer from old phone! All good now! Odd how it was only missing from messages and everything else allowed it!

Even did a force restart and it’s still gone….

Yes of course the mics are working! I can even still record an audio message but I want talk to text back!
