I understand that the HBO product/subscription in the Apple TV app is different than HBO NOW and HBO GO but how can that be? Generally, if you any form of an HBO subscription then you’re able to use that login and password to watch HBO on any device. Why is this any different? My apps are connected and I’m still unable to enjoy my HBO subscription with my new Apple TV that I’m so excited about.

If you have HBO Now or HBO Go and if you don’t want to switch, then you can probably download the corresponding HBO app to your streaming device, and enjoy their service outside the Apple TV app.

You obviously don’t know what I’m talking about because you can’t download appS to Apple TV. Although the HBO product isn’t special it’s customized to Apple TV. It’s still HBO and I’m still paying monthly.
