FaceTime Landscape

I'm running OS Sierra 10.12.6. Me FaceTime opens in Portrait. To try and make it Landscape, I go to "Video" at the top left but "use Landscape" is grayed out. The only option available reads "Always on Top." How can I make FaceTime Landscape (horizontal). Thanks - Ralph
