Can't Resize the FaceTime Window in MacOS

How do you resize the window for FaceTime? It's taking up 1/4 of the screen and I can't make it smaller. After the 12.1 update the arrow to drag the window size smaller or stops at a certain point, but allowed for it to go smaller before the update.

I have this exact same question, I'm writing here to get more attention/traction to it. It's clear Facetime was changed during the Monterey update and it needs to be recoded to allow the window to decrease in size.

Hi jdo_apple,

I'm sorry, but that page you linked did not answer the issue. It mentioned nowhere how to make the window smaller than 1/4 of the screen. Would you happen to know if there might be a terminal command or something similar to grant access to have more control of the application? Thank you

Hello kareng12,

Thank you for the suggestion. I have the resolution set to the default and tried the highest screen real estate setting, but the FaceTime window is still much too large and takes up a lot of the screen still. It wasn't until after the 12.1 update did I have issues being able to resize. I will provide a screenshot of what I mean.

Even after the call starts the window stays that size. It wasn't like that before the update. So I'm not sure what is happening.

I will contact support if its related to the update.
