Facetime always in portrait mode on my 2011 MacBook Pro. help
Hi,
Whilst the App is in Preview mode the Orientation cannot be changed and the options to do so are Greyed out.
Once the call is connected then the options on My Mac are active.
I can choose Landscape but this just makes the Pic in Pic landscape and does not change the overall Video chat window.
If the other end can change to Landscape such as a Phone changing its position then the main window will also change.
Hope this helps.

hi,
It tends to follow the incoming Call's orientation.
However there is an option in the Video Menu that should allow you to change the orientation from your end.
There may be limits to this depending on your Level of OS with a 2011 MacBook Pro if it is not running the latest OS.

On video menu the landscape and full view tabs are there but I cannot access to choose orientation. Why so?
