Mail on 2019 MacBook Air using Catalina 10.15.4 The mail app has vanished. It doesn't launch. It is still working normally on other computers, so I know the issue is not with my account. How do I reinstall the Mail app?

Then I would try reinstalling macOS from Recovery.
You have to reinstall the OS. Perhaps just download and install the combo update.

I don't know if it localizes it. However, just use https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2037
and it should redirect to the local download site.
Try the first and let me know if it sets the Locale to Australia. I've been wondering if it would.
If it doesn't, I'll start trying to clean up the links I post.

The localised one dowloaded but didn't solve the problem. The unlocalised one wouldn't download completely. So we have learned something there!
