"Safari cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Safari works with this version of macOS. You may need to reinstall the application..."

Today I cannot open Safari because of this problem. Anyone please help. Thanks so much!

FYI, I'm using a macOS Mojave - Version 10.14.6.


I have followed the recommendation in similar threads that "deleting the file in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework" but could not delete it. My Mac said "....can't be modified or deleted because it's required by macOS"

Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart). Run Disk Utility and select First Aid. Then re-install the OS.


Reinstall from macOS Recovery.    


OS X Recovery.
