iPod Touch (6th generation)

My iPod Touch does not appear on the sidebar of iTunes when it is connected to my MacbookAir and I am unable to get it to sync to my iTunes library. Any ideas?

Is your iTunes up to date?

Have you tried a different USB port?

Have you tried a different USB cable?

When you connected the device you were likely asked if you wanted to trust this computer. Did you answer yes?
