Apple does not participate in this forum. This is a technical support forum where users help other users.
Describe the issue you are having in full detail and maybe we can help you. Otherwise, if you're expecting a response from Apple here, it won't happen.
And just where would you suggest buying a phone that hasn't been manufactured for a few years now? Microsoft couldn't give those phones away. And IdrisSeabright is likely right. The OP is pressing the send button too long, which then brings up effects, exactly as it is designed to do.
Well, there aren't any Windows phones anymore. They were discontinued four years ago.
The problem you're having is most likely they result of you pressing on the send icon rather than tapping it.
If you do try just tapping it and it still doesn't work your digitizer may be failing. In that case click on the Contact Support link at the top right of this page to start the process to get your screen replaced.
I did not require any explanation for your problem. I understood it completely. It's not uncommon for people to have a little trouble with the difference between pressing and tapping. That's not a criticism. It's a statement of fact. No one considers you a lesser person because of it.
BYW - David again- problems of this nature is the exact reason I wish I had bought a Windows phone. This situation is nothing new for Apple and its’ snobbish employees going back to the 90’s, when Windows machines were much preferable because the user was not always at the mercy of the manufacturer.
As a general reply, I think the title of my problem says it quite succinctly. My messages are going to the effects page instead of just being sent. That should not be too hard to interpret.
Also, I have used iPhones since I had a 4. My last one was a 6 now I’m on 8. After using all these I think I have learned how to press buttons.
Furthermore, I am feeling more criticism and less “ help each other”. But I will try tapping the button, just as I used to use the paper clip hole on my Macs disc drive.
thanks
There were a few nice things about Windows phones. In many ways, it was a much more polished OS than Android. But, they never got developers on board.
They just didn't sell.
