browser redirect virus on iPhone XR

Most of my web site data (in safari settings) are viruses. I clear this data and safari history at least 3 times a day. It even happens in private browsing mode. Also, all the apps I have downloaded from the App Store (and I have only used the App Store) have pop ups that are browser redirect viruses. I have factory reset my phone at least 4 times and the situation remains the same.

If this isn’t Safari pop-ups or some spam calendar dreck... Some questions:

  1. Which iOS version? iOS 13.4 is current.
  2. What are the malware indications within the web site data or the cookies? (The presence of cookies and website data is normal.)
  3. Do the malware indications arise on one Wi-Fi network, or with cellular and all Wi-Fi networks?
  4. If one Wi-Fi network, has the Wi-Fi router been rebooted, and is its firmware upgraded to current?
  5. Is there a network proxy enabled on your iPhone?
  6. Are there any add-on security apps, or add-on VPN clients, installed on your iPhone?

  1. Just updated to 13.4 today.. no website data but still redirects
  2. I have searched the URL and found info that indicated these are browser redirects
  3. Good question. Usually on home wifi and occasional cell data
  4. because of these issues I purchased a new router a couple of months back and I have reset it multiple times since
  5. no network proxy
  6. I use a VPN (from App Store) and 2 ad blockers and 2 wifi security apps
